Tesla Model Y competitor is spotted on final test runs: spy photos of NIO EC7 2023 have been published.

The model will debut soon. Spotted in the autumn of this year on road tests NIO EC7 has «lighted up» again on spy photos.

There are images of new NIO EC7 2023 appeared in the network. The novelty in characteristics and design can be compared with Tesla Model Y, with which, most likely, it will compete.

Despite the presence of camouflage, some exterior details can still be seen.

December 24, at the conference hall Hefei Binhu will be held NIO Day 2022, which will show several new models, among which may be the NIO EC7.

Unfortunately, there are no official comments on this matter.

Nevertheless, now the car passes the stage of road tests. On the published spy photos the model is shown in camouflage, but you can already see some things in its appearance.

In particular, the silhouettes of the headlights, which received a two-tier design, can be seen under the protective film.

The hood has a slightly curved shape, which gives some contrast to the straight bumper.

At the bottom, you can consider a fairly wide air intake.

Multi-spoke wheels look sporty on the overall background.

The rear view mirrors got a standard design, but what format the handles on the doors will be, it is not clear yet.

Behind the car there is an antenna, the purpose of which is not clear. Most likely, it is testing of some equipment.

The roof is made in accordance with the class of the coupe — heavily sloped back.

This, in turn, provides a good dynamic performance. On the stern, you can partially see the narrow through-format skylights.

In general, they are similar to those presented in the current NIO ET7. Unfortunately, the interior of the model is not yet disclosed.

But we have some data about the new item’s equipment. Thus, NIO EC7 will be available with NIO Aquila ultra-sensitive control system, NAD assisted driving technology, cameras, etc.

There are three types of batteries — 75, 100 and 150 kWh. In the latter case, the autonomy will be within 900 kilometers.
