Nissan Max Out 2023.
Nissan will unveil the new Max-Out electric concept car in February 2023.
Nissan intends to unveil the concept on February 1st. A video has already appeared on YouTube, which will be published next week.
It shows the Max-Out teaser originally revealed in late November 2021.
The automaker says its upcoming electric car will show what «happens when a virtual car becomes physical.»
This suggests that the car was indeed built, as previously the Max-Out was only shown in renderings.
When Nissan first unveiled the concept, it mentioned that the two-seat electric roadster had an «ultra-light» design.
The Japanese automaker also indicated that the car received four-wheel drive.
This means it has one electric motor in the front and another in the back.
The electric sports car had a low center of gravity and «a unique ability to transform the seats by flattening the floor to allow more interior space if desired.»
Nissan also gave him an extended e-4ORCE setup, which is a marketing ploy for a two-motor all-wheel drive setup.
The hardware was originally unveiled in October 2019 on the Leaf prototype which had a total output of 304 hp. and 680 Nm.
This was enough to provide «very responsive yet unusually smooth acceleration».
Max-Out specifications were not provided.
While Nissan intends to bring the Max-Out to metal, don’t get your hopes up for the production version.
Convertibles have fallen out of favor in recent decades. The main profit is brought by SUVs and crossovers.
In 2025, the launch of the Leaf crossover is a bigger priority.
When the Max-Out debuted, it was paired with Chill-Out as a potential successor to the Leaf crossover.
In addition, there is a single-cab Surf-Out pickup truck, as well as a boxy Hang-Out hatchback that looks like a futuristic cube.
It is also known that Nissan plans to release an electric pickup truck in the United States.
