Nissan has unveiled a powerful version of the 2021 Patrol SUV.
Nissan has updated the Patrol Nismo SUV, which is an exclusive model for the Middle East.

During the restyling, the designers of the Japanese brand tried to make the car look even more formidable.

For this, new bumpers were installed on the car, and the front one here has functional air ducts on the sides, as well as a large grille in the center.

Of the changes in the stern, it is worth noting the appearance of a more developed spoiler and a large diffuser with a central fog lamp.

The updated Nismo version is characterized by the presence of a red edging around the perimeter of the body, while such a car is put on 22-inch wheels, while the usual model is put on 20 ″ wheels.

Despite the increased diameter, these rollers are somewhat lighter than standard rollers (- 4.5 kg).

The interior of the restyled model has a combination of leather and Alcantara trim with contrasting red inserts and the same stitching. Plus, the edging of the tachometer scale is also made in red here.

It is reported that during the update, the interior of the SUV received improved noise insulation, as well as a point pseudo-carbon decor (for example, on the center console).

At the same time, the technical filling of the Nissan Patrol Nismo 2021 has not undergone changes. The car is powered by a standard 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 with 428 hp. (560 Nm), which works in tandem with a seven-speed automatic.

All-wheel drive with a reduction gear is included in the base.

The suspension of the new 2021 Nissan Patrol Nismo continues to use Bilstein shock absorbers.

Compared to the standard version, the ground clearance of this modification is lowered to 260 mm (-15), and another feature of the machine is more heat-resistant brakes. In the Middle East, accepting orders for the updated Patrol Nismo has already started — they ask for 105,000 dollars for the car (7,960,000 rubles at the current exchange rate).

The sporty theme continues in the interior with red stitching and two-tone leather and Alcantara seats.

The design on the sidewalls of the seats echoes the grille filling, and the Nismo logos are embroidered on the headrests.

The steering wheel, inspired by racing Nissan, is wrapped in suede and adorned with carbon fiber inserts.

The updated model is promised improved noise isolation by reducing frame vibrations and an upgraded air conditioning for the second row.

There is also a compartment for wireless charging of gadgets and USB inputs.

The equipment includes the latest version of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility complex, which includes various safety systems — from the emergency braking system with the function of recognition of transitions to the intelligent high beam.

Under the hood, unchanged: the updated Patrol Nismo powers the well-deserved 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V8, producing 428 horsepower (400 for the standard Patrol) and 560 Nm of torque.

It is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The Japanese brand did not disclose the dynamic performance of the novelty.

Its predecessor accelerated from zero to the first «hundred» in 6.1 seconds, and the maximum speed was 210 kilometers per hour.

Nissan Patrol Nismo will go on sale in the Middle East in April.
