After a fairly long period of time, Japanese developers from Nissan decided to update the budget sedan Nissan Sentra, which was once popular in many countries (especially in the USA). Prior to this, the Japanese were mainly engaged in SUVs and crossovers.

After restyling, the car has changed significantly. The appearance of the family car has changed a lot, but on the technical side, the new Nisan of the 8th generation has become more high-torque.
With all these improvements, the car has remained budgetary and affordable for most motorists.

Appearance

Everyone knows that the Japanese like to significantly change the appearance of the car during restyling. This is pretty good quality, because in the end, Japanese cars are different from each other even if they are from the same line. Nissan Center 2020 model year was no exception, receiving an updated design.

The biggest changes were made to the front of the car, which is noticeable at first glance. The muzzle of the car became a little longer and lower, and also received a fairly large angle of inclination. The hood cover was decorated with a strongly protruding relief.
Perhaps, only the branded radiator grill, traditionally made in the form of a trapezoid, has not changed much. The entire intake system is framed by a wide strip of chrome and filled with a fine black mesh. Head optics, which look very aggressive and modern, deserve special praise.

The rich body kit of the car looks no less impressive and includes three additional air intakes and stylish fog optics. At the very bottom of the body kit has a decorative ledge, which also serves to improve aerodynamic performance.
Looking at the Sentra from the side, you can see the complete absence of straight lines. All elements of decor and relief have rounded lines and smooth transitions. In general, the body profile looks elegant and modern at the same time.

All small details, such as door handles or side mirrors are made very high quality and do not look budget. Side windows are framed by a glossy strip of black. The rack dividing the windows, is also made in black. Rounding out the whole picture are slightly protruding perfectly round wheel arches.

Behind the new Nissan looks modern and at the same time calm. I would like to pay attention to the high ground clearance and a shortened body in the area of ​​the luggage compartment. Dimensional optics has a triangular shape and looks quite stylish.
The body kit looks quite modest and includes only a couple of thin strips of fog optics and a diffuser of unpainted plastic. The only exhaust pipe is barely visible under the bottom.

Salon

The interior of the new Nissan exceeds all expectations, especially when you consider that this car is a budget. The interior here is not only beautiful, but also finished with pretty good materials, such as high-quality plastic, metal and good fabric.
And all this ends with an excellent multimedia system, which will not only help the driver in driving, but also provide the most comfortable ride for all passengers.

The center console is modest, but tasteful. Above is a touch screen with an interesting design. Immediately below the display in a row are three circular deflectors, reminiscent of airplane turbines in design.
Even lower, Japanese designers installed a small panel that controls climate and some other functions. This is all that the center console contains.

Next comes the tunnel, which includes a gear shift knob, a hand brake and some elements that are responsible for comfort, such as cup holders, USB connectors, etc. The tunnel ends with a large armrest.
All five seats are also made at a high level. For their decoration, high-quality, wear-resistant and pleasant to the touch fabric was used. For filling, good materials were also used to ensure a soft and comfortable fit.

In addition, the front row of seats has decent lateral support and heating. The functionality of the second row of seats is somewhat more modest, but there is everything you need to move comfortably both over long distances and within the city.

Specifications

Nissan Sentra will be available in two versions:

1. The first for Europe with a gasoline engine having a volume of 1.8 liters and a capacity of 130 horsepower.

2. The second will be produced with a 1.6 liter engine, producing 116 horsepower.
In this configuration, the car will be delivered to the Russian market. The gearbox can be selected from a CVT or a five-speed manual.

Options, price and release date

Especially for the Russian market, the Nissan Sentra 2020 will be manufactured with improved shock absorbers and chassis, as well as with a reinforced body.
The price of the car will be about 700 thousand rubles for the basic equipment and about 1.2 million for the top one.
