We are talking about the Dream Edition: this electric car can travel 836 km without a recharge (the calculation was made according to the EPA cycle used in the U.S.).

The beginning of American startup Lucid Motors was laid in 2007: then the company was still called Atieva.

Initially it created developments with electric propulsion systems based on the Mercedes-Benz Vito. The current name — Lucid — was chosen in 2016, ahead of the debut of the Air sedan prototype.

Production of the electric «four-door» was supposed to start in 2018 at the plant in Casa Grande (Arizona), but the launch was postponed several times, including due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Production of the Lucid Air has now begun, with the first customers receiving their cars later this year.
