Mitsubishi Airtrek 2022. Mitsubishi has unveiled the Airtrek electric crossover.

At the motor show in Chongqing, China in 2021, the Mitsubishi Airtrek crossover was presented, although it was not shown to the public “live”, limiting itself to demonstrating images of the car on a large screen.

The new Mitsubishi Airtrek has nothing to do with the model of the same name in 2001 and is a converted Chinese electric car Aion V.

It was developed at the GAC Mitsubishi joint venture.

The Mitsubishi model differs from the donor Aion V by a different body design with a “face” in the “Dynamic Shield” style, which is proprietary for the Japanese brand.

The reworked model has original bumpers and optics. There is no «floating» roof here, and the exterior decor is somewhat different.
