Capable of competing with the Tesla Model S, Mercedes-Benz EQS, BMW i7, as well as their ICE-powered counterparts such as the S-Class and 7-Series, the ET9 offers a new 900-volt architecture, packing 700 hp almost under the hood .

It is due to hit the Chinese market next year, with first deliveries expected in early 2025.

Like Nio’s smaller EC7, the ET9 challenges traditional distinctions between coupe-crossovers and sedans. This is evident not only in its design, but also in its surprisingly high ground clearance for a full-size sedan.

The ET9 features a fastback coupe-style roofline while retaining Nio’s signature (and not-so-signature) design elements.

An independent designer has shown what the electric successor to the Volvo S90 will look like.

Earlier it became known that Volvo is preparing an electric crossover to replace the XC90, and, as AutoEvolution suggests, the S90 sedan will suffer the same fate.

The latter has been in service for more than six years, and soon the time will come for a generation change.

The publication publishes renderings by an independent designer who suggested what a hypothetical electric alternative to the current S90 could look like.

It retained the proportions of the current sedan, but gave it the appearance features of the Concept Recharge concept.

In China it is Sterra, and for export markets they came up with the name Exlantix.

The first-born of the new series was a large electric sedan; in its homeland its full name sounds like Exeed Sterra ES.

The four-door has already been shown at various exhibitions, and a preliminary price list was even announced earlier. Well, now sales have started in China.

The Sterra ES is based on the new E0X platform with standard air suspension and a fully steerable chassis.

The length of the four-door designed for China is 4945 mm, width – 1978 mm, height – 1467 mm, wheelbase – 3000 mm.

Nissan Pathfinder 2024.

A completely different Nissan Pathfinder  2024 has gone into production.

This is a crossover for the Chinese market with the same engine as the Infiniti QX60.
Serial assembly of the Nissan Pathfinder has begun in China, but of a different type.

The new model, which will go on sale in China in 2024, is radically different from the familiar Pathfinder: it has a different body, engine, exterior and interior design, and is produced by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture.

Russians should take a closer look at this crossover, since it is likely that it will appear here too, because at least one model with the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture is already being supplied to us — the DF6 pickup.

The Chinese Nissan Pathfinder is larger than the model of the same name in the USA (which, by the way, was expected in Russia last year), while the number of seats for the crossovers is the same — there are seven of them according to the 2+2+3 scheme. Later there will be a six-seater option.
