Porsche 911 Carrera 2022: a new version of the sports car in coupe configuration.
In the near future, Porsche will bring a new version of the front- or all-wheel-drive premium sports car to the world market — the Porsche 911 Carrera 2022.
In the eighth generation rear-engined sports bolide with a comfortable four-seat saloon is somewhat increased in size, has received a significantly updated interior, as well as more dynamic starting and acceleration characteristics of the power unit.
The new model is adapted to the needs of wealthy motorists who prefer the combination of everyday practicality with comfort and road safety in the layout and configuration of their car in all driving modes.
Exterior
The exterior of the prestigious sports car is dominated by features of the brand style, harmoniously complemented by exclusive design solutions. Despite its sporty status, there is no visual aggression in the design of the new body. The photo shows the Porsche 911 Carrera in the most striking, «parade» perspective of the current, 2022 model year:
black glossy perimeter of the panoramic windshield;
Ribbed fender profiles and a sloping hood dynamically decorated with brand logo;
Characteristic for the model range oval configuration of the front LED optics.
Almost the entire format of the lower front tier is occupied by a rectangular bottom air intake combined with ventilation diffusers.
Completes the design of the front end with a ribbed profile of a narrow metal dodger.
Despite the direct resemblance to branded predecessors from different years, the new body of the eighth generation sports car looks modern, stylish and, to a large extent, presentable.
In the profile, no less expressive and dynamic aspect, the sports car attracts attention:
The aerodynamic contour of the body with a fastback sloping roof;
the elegant design of the rear-view mirrors;
the drop-shaped configuration of the small-size side glazing and the spacious door openings;
impressive volumes of wheel arches, as well as racing diameters of 20- and 21-inch composite aluminum-titanium rims.
Restyling has also introduced a number of point changes in the design of the stern of the body.
There is a gentle slope of the rear window, enclosed in a black perimeter, the company’s graphic stretched to the width of the body dimensionally-stop multifunctional optics.
Under the wavy relief of a wide bumper is equipped with fog lights, outlet diffusers, and a large caliber of the two exhaust tailpipes dodger made of unpainted plastic.
The first show of the new version of the sports car has initiated a large number of generally positive reviews and comments.
By all accounts, the novelty of the model range has all the prerequisites to improve its rating position.
Interior
In its new hypostasis, the Porsche 911 Carrera 2022 demonstrates a premium range of finishing and decorating materials, advanced in terms of perfection technical and electronic equipment, and an ergonomic layout of the most comfortable seats in its segment. In the spotlight:

The seating and road comfort of the two seats in the rear row is very conditional.
The low roof creates discomfort for above-average-sized passengers, and service is limited only by a set of diffusers and a block of ports for recharging smartphones.
The test drive confirmed the effectiveness of the interior sound insulation, the absence of vibration at different engine speeds, and the flawless interaction of all component systems.
The design of the body offers two small luggage compartments, with a total volume of 396 liters.
The rear compartment is available after partial transformation of the rear seats.
Specifications
The new dimensions of the Porsche 911 Carrera 2022 sports car are stated in proportional ratios of length, width and height — 4919 x 1852 and 1300 mm.
The interaxle base length of 2450 and ground clearance height of 129 mm in the new version remains unchanged.
Among the novelty’s advantages are modular «truck, allowing to use the advantages of rear or full drive, combined rack-mounted Macpherson and multilever chassis suspension, adaptive shock absorbers and a full range of disc brakes with heat-resistant ceramic pads.

Acceleration time to the first hundred is 4.3 seconds, top speed up to 293 km/h. Average fuel consumption in the mixed mode is fixed at 10.7 liters.

On EU markets, the new Porsche 911 Carrera 2022 model year is offered in coupe and convertible modifications.
The initial price of both modifications in the ruble equivalent starts from 9 million units of domestic currency.
