According to the developers, this did not affect the aerodynamics of the two-door.

In addition, the touring coupe boasts a body-colored front fairing, while on the regular GT3 the latter has a large black section.

Plus, this modification is characterized by the presence of side windows decorated with polished edging moldings.

In general, the appearance of this version of the model is more civilian.

The interior of the sports car with the «travel package» is completely black, with leather trimmed not only on the seats, but also on the steering wheel, gear lever, center console, as well as door handles and armrests.

Inside, there is an expanded leather trim: it affected not only the seats, but also the steering wheel (instead of the regular suede), the gear lever, the center console, armrests and door handles.

The entire interior is finished in black.

At the same time, along with the Touring package, it is no longer possible to order a roll cage, but almost all other options are available.

The technology of the Porsche 911 GT3 model has been preserved.

This is a naturally aspirated boxer with a volume of 4.0 liters (510 hp, 469 Nm), in a pair of which you can order a six-speed «mechanics» or a seven-speed «robot» PDK with two clutches.

Interestingly, the price of a car does not depend on the type of gearbox, and Porsche marketers in different regions present it differently.

For example, in Europe it is stated that the PDK box can be ordered at no additional cost, while in the US it is called «mechanics» as a free option.

But there are no changes in terms of technology, so the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring still has a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated boxer with a capacity of 510 hp. (469 Nm), which can work with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK robot with two clutches.

The optional Touring Package was first introduced by Porsche back in 1973 for the 911 Carrera RS: with this package, the most extreme version of the coupé becomes more comfortable for long journeys.

This option was remembered only in 2017, when it was proposed for the «evil» Porsche 911 GT3 model.

Buyers have embraced the revived Touring Package warmly, so now a similar package is available for the new generation GT3.

The current Touring Package is not so much an increased comfort as a more «civilian» appearance. Instead of a massive rear wing, a compact retractable spoiler was installed at the stern, due to which the engine cover had to be changed.

The company claims that the aerodynamic balance of the car has been maintained.

The entire front fairing is now body-colored (the base GT3 has a large black section), and the side windows are adorned with polished piping moldings.

Interestingly, the Touring package itself is free, which means that buyers of a sports car will not have to pay extra for it.

At the same time, the choice of this option deprives the client of the opportunity to install a safety cage on the car.

The appearance of the first Porsche 911 GT3 in the «touring» version will have to wait — the dealers are expected to have the first «live» cars only by the end of 2021.
