Porsche 928 by Nardone Automotive 2024. Nardone Automotive has shown a spectacular restomod Porsche 928 with carbon fiber body.
The Porsche 928 restomod built by Nardone Automotive will premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at the end of June twenty-second.
However, the basic information about the project is already known. It is reported that the director of Garage Italia Carlo Borromeo, who created such modifications as Delta Futurista and Project Rekall, was involved to work on the design of the sports car.
He gave the restomod a classic exterior design, although its body is made of carbon fiber.
Two-door also attracts attention with modern lighting and modified bumpers.
The car got extended wheel arches in the style of the 928 GTS model. The car itself is set on 18-inch forged wheels, which are made in a retro-style.
The two-door has no rear spoiler, and the design of the stern reminds 928 S4. As for the interior, it has a combined alcantara and leather trim of the Turin company Foglizzo, materials of which are used in such cars as Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera and Pagani.
The cabin has a new dashboard and multimedia system Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM).
The head unit has USB and AUX ports, support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interfaces, and navigation with Points of Interest (POI).
The Porsche 928 by Nardone Automotive has an atmospheric V8 engine with over 400 horsepower.
By comparison, the classic two-door has a 5.4-liter naturally aspirated V8 with 350 horsepower.
In the restomod the engine works in tandem with a six-speed manual. Other features include a limited slip differential in the rear axle and adaptive suspension with electronically controlled dampers.
All this is designed to improve ride quality and comfort level, while the dynamic characteristics of the modification developers have not yet flaunted.
Nardone Automotive plans to establish a small-scale production of restomod.
Its cost is not specified, and shipment of cars to the first customers will begin only in 2024.
