Porsche is testing a prototype of the updated Porsche Cayenne crossover.

Western publications have published photos with a test prototype of a coupe version of the Porsche Cayenne crossover.

The current generation of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe should get a facelift.

Prototypes of the crossover with different kinds of camouflage have been spotted almost regularly for most of the year, and now we see the Cayenne Coupe almost without camouflage. Even Porsche’s signature emblems are in plain sight.

Through the lens of Western journalists’ cameras, we see thin stickers outlining the modified headlights.

There’s black tape and mesh film on the taillights. Of course, testing in the icy Arctic offers some natural camouflage in the form of a layer of snow on the body panels.

Either way, we know the update for the model will be minor, focusing on the larger square vents on the front fascia with the aforementioned lighting improvements.

Our sources speculate that this is a hybrid version of the model. Judging by the center rear exit, it could be a Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe.

The upgraded exhaust and tailgate are optional for this package, though Porsche may introduce it for other packages with this update.

We haven’t heard anything significant about changes to the engine lineup, though the changes could result in a slight increase in power and efficiency, especially on the hybrid versions of the model.

Given that the current Turbo S E-Hybrid already has 670 horsepower, the addition of extra power ensures that it remains one of the fastest crossovers available today.
