On the wave of stable high demand for crossover cars, the German Porsche brand has implemented the first restyling of a prestigious branded electric sedan in a short time, which will be released on the world market under the name Porsche Taycan 2022.
In its second interpretation, the novelty combines in its design recognizable details of the classic racing style with practicality and functionality.
The target audience of the respectable four-door is a young, mostly urban car enthusiasts who appreciate comfort, safety and compliance with environmental standards.
Exterior
The new 2022 electric Tycan’s exterior doesn’t differ much from the classic signature three-door.
There are excellent aerodynamics of the body contour, advanced characteristics of interior, technical and electronic equipment, a number of successfully implemented design and layout solutions.
In the photo in the most advantageous front projection the new generation electric car demonstrates:
a steep slope of the hood and raised front fenders;
oval configuration of the combined blocks of multi-functional front optics;
vertical slot diffusers venting the discs of the front brake circuit.
The racing styling dominates in the design of the massive, streamlined bumper and in the format of the finely mesh decorated lower air vent.
Completes the composition of the front end with a compact dodger. Despite the absence of bright decorative accents, the new version of the elite electric car looks very presentable.
In a less bright and expressive profile perspective full-size new body differs from sedans of the same type with elongated hood, low sporty ground clearance, dynamic relief sidewalls and voluminous wheel niches with 20-inch exclusive discs.
The layout features of the sides of the new electric car:
More characteristic of liftbacks, the line of the roof falling down to the trunk;
arched two-part window glazing and frameless doorways;
panoramic mirrors;
vertical layout of exit diffusers.
The rear body design is copied from the ’19 model without significant changes.
There is a large area of rear glazing, illuminated jumper of compact clearance and stop lights with LED fittings, a small-format trunk lid and a powerful plastic dodger with a pair of fog lights.
In the design of the body there are no elements of aggressive stepped relief, nevertheless the appearance of the model Porsche Taycan 2022 is associated with the dynamics of a large predator, ready to jump.
Interior
The interior of the conditional five-seater interior demonstrates the premium quality of finishing, modern to the highest standards of equipment, ergonomics and comfort of the seats.
The command functionality of activation and adjustment of complete options is entrusted to the buttons of three-dial digital instrument panel and multifunctional steering wheel, as well as touchpad of 10-inch media-information display of center console.

Under the armrest there is a roomy camera, working in heating and cooling modes.
Perfectly profiled and the safest pilot seats are equipped with full transverse-lumbar support, a wide range of adjustments, heating and ventilation systems, as well as a three-mode vibrating massage.
The rear sofa is formatted for three seats, in reality the narrow central seat is more often used as a convenient armrest.
Taller people may feel some discomfort due to the low ceiling.
The front trunk capacity is a little over 80 liters, the rear boot capacity is 366.
The design of the body does not increase the capacity due to partial installation of a couch back.

According to the ratio of external dimensions, 4963 x 1966 and 1381 mm, Porsche Tycan 2022 electric car belongs to the category of full-size sedans. In the design and layout properties of the new version:
