Porsche introduced a special version of the Taycan GTS: the electric sedan became more luxurious and sporty.

Finally, the Taycan GTS has got a special version. German brand presented Porsche Taycan GTS Hockenheimring Edition 2022.

This edition was released to mark the anniversary of the race track with the same name.

The model has received quite a lot of external changes, thanks to which it will stand out strongly among other cars.

This version is the first celebratory version for the Taycan GTS. It makes a lot of changes to the model and also gives buyers the opportunity to participate in a whole list of events that will be held at the Hockenheimring.

The Porsche Taycan GTS Hockenheimring Edition not only celebrates the history of the famous track, but is also the automaker’s very first special version based on an electric car, potentially making it a collector’s item.

Porsche says the idea behind the car was to combine the track’s mottos of «mobile evolution» and «traditional elegance.»

Highlights include special badges with a track map and the number 90, as well as a Stone Grey paint job from the custom color program, which is balanced with Bronzite accents.

This color extends to the spokes of the 21-inch Mission E Design wheels, and the rim edge is in Stone Grey.

Now let’s take a closer look at all the changes. The body is painted a taupe shade.

It will be used only for the Hockenheimring Edition. With this color created a beautiful contrast, which creates some elements of the bronze shade.

Also particularly noticeable are the 21-inch rims with the new design, which are painted in the two aforementioned colors. Black calipers can be seen behind them.

The interior is finished in black leather, contrasting with Island Green decorative stitching.

The decorative trim is Paldao wood with open pores, giving this Taycan a classic look.

The multifunction steering wheel gets a Bronzite finish, and the 12 o’clock marker is in Island Green.

If to look into the interior, you can immediately smell sportiness and luxury.

The entire interior is upholstered in black leather, along which there is a noticeable green line.

There are also wood inserts in the interior, which certainly add to the luxury of the car.

There are many elements painted in bronze, even the sport steering wheel of this color.

The center console is decorated with an anniversary logo. It all comes complete with unique mats and projection.

The electric motor has not received any changes. It develops the same 598 horsepower.

Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited at 250 km/h.

In addition to unique design touches, the owners of this model will receive special privileges on the track.

The battery guarantees a cruising range of 540 kilometers. The price of this edition is still unknown.
