In its appearance the French model is clearly visible. This specimen, according to experts, came off the assembly line of a Russian company.

Earlier in the Network there was information that the new Renault Sandero Stepway 2022 will be almost a complete clone of a similar model from Romanian Dacia.

But then it turned out that this is not true. The car will get its own recognizable details.

At that the prototypes pictured earlier on «spy» photos obviously had exactly the same optics as Romanian Sandero Stepway.

As for the model spotted the day before by the spies, according to the insiders, it was assembled at AvtoVAZ facilities.

But where this car was transported is not known. The same sources say that Russian Sandero Stepway has a lot of differences from its Romanian counterpart similar to Logan.

The latter will have a lot in common with the Talliant model.

It is already known that Renault Sandero Stepway 2022, which will be sold in Russia, will be based on CMF-B platform.

A little later this architecture will become a base for future Lada novelties. The engine lineup of the car, most likely, will not change.

The official debut of the French model will take place either at the end of this year, or at the beginning of the next year.

Some sources even say that the serial assembly of the car will not begin until the summer of 2022. Exact terms are not called yet.

Most likely, this is due to the shortage of semiconductors, which encountered all the world’s automakers.

At the same time on the European market the new Renault Sandero Stepway 2022 has already made its debut. Here it is sold under the brand name Dacia.

At the same time the expert, who was driving the car, noted that the new Sandero Stepway in terms of controllability is a head above its predecessor.

However, the standard Sandero appeared to be better, because it has a smaller clearance and a stiffer suspension.

Anyway the car managed to show really excellent results. In fact some more eminent cars have shown much worse results.

In particular the Volkswagen Golf of the eighth generation could pass the moose test only at a speed of 69 km/h. The German Mercedes-Benz CLA was also worse.

It had to slow down to 66 km/h. The new Sandero Stepway and hybrid Volkswagen Passat with Skoda Superb were inferior.

Russian cars, unfortunately, officially do not pass this test, so there is nothing to say about their results in relation to the «French».
