Renault Scenic Vision 2024.

Renault has presented the concept of the hydrogen car Renault Scenic Vision.

The novelty will be a step forward in terms of ecology for the French company.

A few weeks ago, Renault published a teaser of the new crossover, saying that this model will be the first product for the brand equipped with a hydrogen engine.

Today, the manufacturer unveiled a concept of the vehicle.

The presented Renault Scenic Vision 2024 is designed in an uncharacteristic style for the French brand’s models, but is equipped with a familiar motor.

French brand Renault has officially declassified a hydrogen concept car.

It took place within the ChangeNOW forum in Paris. Dimensions of the car correspond to a family car, although the length was only 4 490 mm. Thus it was possible to reach a wheelbase of 2,835 mm.

Weight of the concept car is about 1 700 kg. Besides modern technologies, Renault Scenic Vision demonstrates another design approach to cars.

Especially striking is the interior — with a completely new and spacious layout, as well as with large displays.

The fight for ecology here is traced not only in terms of the use of hydrogen fuel.

We should also note the use of recycled materials, which at the same time look great.

The figures are also published — 70 percent of all materials are made from recycled materials, and 95 percent can be recycled later.

The Scenic Vision is equipped with a non-standard transmission, which combines electric motor and hydrogen fuel cell system.

An electric motor installed on the novelty, previously debuted on Megane E-Tech Electric.

The maximum output of this unit is 218 hp, and the hydrogen fuel cell output reaches 22 hp.

All of the generated power is transmitted only to the rear wheels. The electric motor comes with a 40-kilowatt battery.

This combination provides a cruising range of 800 kilometers.

The crossover is based on a platform of its own design that provides for the location of an electric motor in the rear, fuel cells in the center and a hydrogen tank in front.

Renault has announced that the novelty is completed with equipment that can automatically track risks and change the direction of the car.

In addition, Scenic Vision is complemented by an assistant, which provides a new level of safety, according to the official statement.

Externally, the French model corresponds to the design of modern crossovers. But the interior is executed in a futuristic style.

But the production version of the Scenic Vision will likely get a more conventional interior. Renault has promised that this model will debut in 2024.
