Rimac Nevera 2022 electric hypercar.
Rimac has released the first production copy of the Nevera hypercar: 1,887 hp and four electric motors.
Rimac has finally produced the first production copy of the Nevera 2022 electric hypercar.
This is a very important moment for a small brand, because the development lasted five years.
A lot of testing has been done, the car’s drivetrain has been changed three times during that time, and the total run time equals about 1,600,000 hours.
Rimac, like every other company, faced a pandemic, a chip shortage, and many more problems.
Despite all this, we were shown a fully completed hypercar Nevera.
It has a body in pearl green shade, graphite wheels and interior covered with sand-colored alcantara.
This model was first shown to us at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but there was not yet a production copy.
Though it is a production car, it will be used by Bugatti Rimac as a demonstration car.
Nevertheless, all the experience gained by Rimac engineers will be applied in future models.
All specimens will be sent to 25 dealerships, where they can be purchased by new owners.
The Croatian company plans to produce up to 50 cars per year, but the first batch is already sold out because there were so many people interested in trying out the first electric hypercar.
During all this time will be released only 150 units of Nevera and each of them can be personalized to the owner, so all cars will be unique.
Now there are so many customization options for both the body and the interior.
We can add carbon fiber elements or a full carbon coating, it all depends on your preference.
As you know, the hypercar has a transmission, consisting of 4 electric motors, which together develop 1887 horsepower.
All this installation is powered by a 120 kWh battery. Thus, the model is able to accelerate to 96 km/h in just 1.8 seconds.
