SAIC Maxus G90 2022.

This is a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz V-Class: sales of the new SAIC Maxus G90 minivan have started.

SAIC company has announced the start of sales of the new minivan Maxus G90.

This model is offered in eight versions. Prices for the SAIC Maxus G90 2022 will start at 219.9 thousand yuan (2.37 million rubles at current exchange rate).

For the top modification asked 329.9 million yuan (3.55 million rubles).

Maxus G90 is a premium-class minivan, which can compete with the Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

The length of Chinese novelty reaches 5280 mm with a wheelbase of 3200 mm. Width is 1999 mm, height — 1845 mm.

That is the size of the car is even larger than Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Despite its large size, the Chinese model is available in six-seat version.

The new Maxus G90 offers comfort of a premium class.

In addition to fully LED headlights, automatic headlights and electric side doors, the Chinese model has two split second-row seats with lumbar support, head restraints and telescopic footrests.

Each rear seat is equipped with its own compact-sized touchscreen, through which you can control the electric drive, ventilation, heating and massage.

A folding table is also provided in the back.

All seats are upholstered in leather by default. The front panel is almost completely covered with a large display, which includes a cluster of digital instruments and 2 touchscreens.

The third row also has electrically adjustable seats with separate air conditioning output.

Maxus G90 is powered by a 2-liter supercharged motor, combined with a 48-volt starter-generator.

Its output reaches 234 hp and maximum torque — 390 N*m.

This motor comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Maxus G90 and MIFA 9: Chinese minivans with gasoline and electric units.

Back in November of the twenty-first Maxus company, a part of the Chinese concern SAIC, introduced a luxury electric minivan MIFA 9, which went on sale last February.

And now the company has rolled out another minivan — the gasoline Maxus G90. In fact, both of these cars are essentially the same model.

Maxus MIFA 9 and G90 have similar exterior design, although their «face» is different.

On the ceiling, the developers placed the control panel for the third zone of climate control.

In the base, both vans have seven-seat layout, with two separate seats on the second row and a three-seat sofa in the lounge.

The top versions have 6 seats. The most expensive versions have folding tables and miniature touch screens in the side armrests.

In turn, separate lounge chairs have folding footrests and partial electrification.

As for options, there is a saloon mirror with a built-in screen, which displays the picture from the upper rear view camera.

Maxus G90 and MIFA 9 have almost identical dimensions with wheelbase of 3 200 mm, while because of more aggressive «trim» the gasoline version is slightly longer — 5 280 mm (+10).

Width and height of the cars are 2,000 and 1,840 mm, respectively. They have front-wheel drive and independent spring suspension.

Specifically, the «green» Maxus MIFA 9 is equipped with an electric motor rated at 245 hp. (350 Nm) and traction battery capacity of 90 kWh.
