Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV 2022.

Skoda has published a series of teasers that reveal the new 2022 Enyaq Coupe iV electric crossover.

One of the main features of the Czech model, according to the official statement, is that the drag coefficient of the coupe body reaches 0.234.

This parameter is the best among modern electric crossovers.

The official debut of the Czech novelty is scheduled for January 31, 2022.

The coupe-like crossover compared with the standard Enyaq iV, which has been on sale on the European market for several months, will have a longer range.

Thanks to an improved body configuration the range of the novelty will increase to 535 kilometers.

It is better than most of its main competitors, including Volkswagen’s electric cars based on the MEB platform which is also the basis of the Czech model.

Note that the standard Enyaq iV travels up to 510 kilometers without recharging.

The Czech novelty will be offered in two versions with a rear engine and one all-wheel drive.

Buyers can choose between a 62- and 82-kilowatt battery.

In default the novelty will be equipped with 177-horsepower electric motor, which can be changed for 201 hp for extra charge.

The top version of electric crossover is equipped with two units with a total output of 261 hp.

In spite of the change of body’s configuration, the volume of a luggage compartment will decrease a little: only by 15 liters to 570 liters.

The height above the head of the passengers of the second row will be slightly reduced. A set of wheels with a diameter of 19-21 inches will be offered.

Despite the change in configuration, coupe-shaped electric crossover will be higher than the standard Enyaq iV by 4 mm.

The novelty will have an important trump up its sleeve in the form of low aerodynamic drag coefficient, which is only 0.234.

The company Skoda has officially announced a new electric crossover Enyaq Coupe iV, which will be presented to the public on January 31 next year.

The basis of Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV is based on a modular electric platform MEB (modular electrification toolkit), on which was built and previously released crossover Enyaq iV.

The novelty will have an important trump up its sleeve in the form of a low aerodynamic drag coefficient of only 0.234.

A more aerodynamically efficient body will lead to increased range.

Skoda previously announced that the best version of the Enyaq Coupe iV will be able to drive up to 535 kilometers without recharging.

For comparison, the Enyaq iV has a maximum range of 510 kilometers and an aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.247.

The upcoming Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV will be offered with rear and all-wheel drive, a choice of two battery packs (62 kWh and 82 kWh) and three powertrains with 177 hp, 201 hp and 261 hp.

Despite the fact that this is a «coupe» version, the car will actually be 1 mm taller (and 4 mm longer) than the standard Enyaq iV.

The size of alloy wheels will range from 19 to 21 inches.

After the world premiere at the end of next month, the Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV should go on sale in Europe in the first half of 2022.
