It is reported that the car will be officially presented late this year and on sale in the first half of next year.

According to previous information about intentions of cooperation between Suzuki and Toyota, the novelty can re-enter the world market of compact cars, where it will compete with Honda Fit, Volkswagen Polo and other models.

From the visualization images of the appearance published this time and previously published «spy» photos it is obvious that the front part of the new generation Suzuki Swift has large radiator grill with blackened grid pattern, and matrix LED headlights of sharper and narrower shape are provided on both sides.

The side of the body is done in two-tone stylistics without excessive plastic transitions, but with a distinct waist line.

The car’s stern, as seen, will have a split headlight design and a hidden exhaust system.

As for the power component, it is already known that Suzuki Swift new generation will be equipped with 1,5-liter naturally aspirated engine codenamed K15C combined with Toyota hybrid system.

Transmission will be six-speed automatic ASG gearbox. It is reported that the original 1.2-liter atmospheric engine will not be used.

At the same time, a light hybrid version with a 1.4-liter turbo engine will also be launched for the new car, whose power parameters will be better than those of its main competitors, such as the Honda Fit and Volkswagen Polo.
