According to rumors, its debut will take place in late fall or early winter.
Even though it’s a long time away from the 2024 Renault Captur, a lot is already known about it.
Thus, European mass media have recently published renders of the French novelty.
These images show that the Captur within the planned modernization expects point changes, which, however, will lead to a fairly serious redesign of the appearance.
Thus, the crossover will retain the curving LED strips going down from the narrowed head optics.
Radiator grille will become noticeably wider, and its pattern, as well as a large central air intake, will be formed by compact vertical slats.
The front bumper will be updated with small air vents.
The crossover as a whole will keep its sporty style. Its body, according to the designers, will still combine voluminous details that visually expand and increase the French model.
A 10.2-inch digital dashboard and a 9.3-inch touchscreen will appear in the interior.
It is expected that the crossover will get more advanced safety systems.
It is reported that a 1-liter turbo engine will be prepared for the Captur. However, it will lose the turbodiesel and 1.3-liter supercharged motor that is part of the hybrid unit.
In addition, the European media is claiming about a possible appearance of a longer version of the Captur, which may debut in 2024.
And this modification will be equipped with hybrid units by default. But Renault is not planning to release a fully electric Captur yet.
According to rumors, the updated Captur will be a little bigger to bridge the gap between the larger model and the larger one.
According to the French media, the design of the 2023 Captur will be inspired by the Vision Scenic and Austral concepts.
The crossover could take on thinner LED optics, triangular bumper air intakes and a new grille with an updated Renault emblem.
A set of light-alloy wheels would complement the image, but the chrome decor would become more laconic. The stern would receive insignificant cosmetic improvements.
A larger 9.3-inch multimedia touchscreen and virtual dashboard with 10.2-inch screen would appear in an updated crossover interior.
And also the novelty can get more complex functions ADAS. It will allow Captur to count on higher marks in EuroNCAP tests.
The new Captur is rumored to get a «stretched» modification.
The updated Renault Captur will debut in the fall of 2023, and the longer variant is due in 2024.
