Toyota GR Supra A91-CF Edition 2022. We will no longer see the new Toyota GR Supra in Russia: deliveries of the model have been discontinued.

Toyota has prepared for the American market a new version of the GR Supra coupe called «A91-CF Edition».

A distinctive feature of this design is the presence of a carbon aerodynamic body kit. The latter consists of an oversized splitter with vertical stabilizers on the sides, side skirts and a large spoiler at the stern.

In addition to the aerodynamic kit, the car flaunts the original matte black forged 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers with a silver Toyota Supra logo.

There are three body colors to choose from: Phantom Matt Gray, Absolute Zero White and Nitro Yellow.

The A91-CF edition is based on the older version of the Supra with an inline turbo-six 3.0 (387 hp, 499 N • m), an eight-speed automatic transmission, gearshift paddles, an adaptive sports suspension, an active rear differential and Brembo brakes. Such a sports car is gaining 60 mph (97 km / h) in 3.9 seconds.

Inside the A91-CF, buyers will see a red and black leather and Alcantara interior with red stitching, sports pedals, carbon fiber trim panels, a leather sports steering wheel, a multimedia system with an 8.8-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM, navigation, JBL audio system (500 W, 12 speakers).

There are many options, among which we can note the dynamic radar cruise control, which works in the entire speed range.

The circulation of the new special version will be only 600 copies, while we note that in the lineup of the current Toyota GR Supra there are much more limited versions.

So, recently the European model received the Jarama Racetrack Edition, the circulation of which was only 60 cars.

Note that the release of the new version especially for the United States is not at all accidental: the Japanese two-door is in good demand on the local market.

Over the past twenty years alone, 5,887 copies of the model were sold overseas. For comparison, the Japanese sold only 947 of these machines in Europe.

But in Russia, Toyota decided to completely abandon the sale of the new Supra. Recall that this model was supplied to us in small quantities.

The first of them consisted of only 10 vehicles. She entered in the late summer of 2019 and was sold out by the end of the year.

Then another 15 cars were delivered in May two thousand and twentieth — they were sold out over the summer.

The third batch is no longer worth waiting for — the sports car has been excluded from the Russian model range, although the Type Approval of the Vehicle (OTTS) for it is valid until June 22nd.

The 2022 Supra arrives at dealerships in the fall. Pricing for all models, including the new A91-CF Edition, will be announced closer to the launch date.

And one more thing: From the 2022 model year, which begins in the fall, all US Supra buyers will receive a free annual membership to the National Motor Sports Association (NASA).

This gives you the right to participate in High Performance Driving Event races (including mastery courses) and a discount on attending NASA-sanctioned events.

North America was more fortunate: the GR Supra A91-CF Edition, presented only for it, featured a new carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit (as hinted at by the letters CF — carbon fiber).
