Toyota GR Supra GT4 50 Edition.

Toyota has released the Supra GR Supra GT4 50 Edition for the price of two BMW X4 M’s.

This is the Toyota GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’, a limited edition version of the GR Supra GT4 race car that will be limited to just six units worldwide.

It’s been 24 months since GR Supra GT4 sales began in Europe before it goes on sale in North America, Japan and Asia.

By the end of 2021, 50 were sold. The GR Supra GT4 has competed in more than 250 races, 36 wins and 78 podiums.

The GR Supra GT4 ’50 Edition’ was born to celebrate 50 race car sales.

Only two units will be allocated for Asia, Europe and North America, respectively. Each will cost 175,000 euros.

All six cars are painted in Toyota Gazoo Racing red and adorned with gold «50 Edition» stickers on the sides and roof.

Toyota has also made some changes to the interior of the race car, installing new OMP racing seats with GR Supra GT4 embroidery, a special navigator with the «50 Edition» logo and a unique license plate on the carbon fiber dashboard.

Customers will also receive a branded car cover for the premises.

This year’s Toyota GR Supra GT4 will compete in races such as the European GT4 Series, Nürburgring Endurance Series, ADAC GT4 Series, DTM Trophy, British GT Championship, Super Taikyu Series, Fanatic GT World Challenge Asia, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge and Pirelli GT4 America.

The car is powered by a modified version of the road car’s 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder, 430-horsepower engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission with a manual limited slip differential.

It also weighs 145 kg less than the road model.

The «50 Edition» special edition for the racing Toyota GR Supra GT4 will be released in quantities of six pieces.

Sales of racing sports car Toyota GR Supra GT4 started in March of the twentieth, and at the end of the twenty-first Japanese managed to sell 50 of these machines.

During this time, Japanese two-door took part in 250 races. Of these, thirty-six ended up winning the class, and another seventy-eight were podiums.

To celebrate the success of the racing model, the automaker introduced a special version «50 Edition».

The modification is characterized by bright red body painting «Toyota Gazoo Racing Red» and availability of stickers with the name of the version.

In turn, new seats are installed in the sports car, and the passenger has a foot platform made of carbon fiber.

The interior is decorated with «50 Edition» logos, and as a free option is offered a branded cover-cover.

In terms of technology, the special version does not differ from the usual GR Supra GT4 variant.

It means that the two-door is equipped with BMW 3,0-liter in-line «six» B58B30C with a twin-stream turbocharger.

The unit works in tandem with a seven-speed sequential and develops 435 hp. (650 Nm).

The cars also have KW dampers, an Akrapovic exhaust system, a mechanical limited slip differential in the rear axle, and racing brakes with six-piston and four-piston calipers front and rear respectively.

The Toyota GR Supra GT4 50 Edition will be produced in an edition of only six cars.

These cars will be distributed equally among buyers from Asia, Europe and the United States.

Curiously enough, the cost of the special edition is the same as the usual two-door racing — 175,000 euros (18.5 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
