Toyota Granvia 2022.

After a short teaser campaign, Toyota has officially unveiled the new Granvia minivan, a relative of the Sienna.

The Japanese model in this design is intended for the Chinese market.

The new 2022 Toyota Granvia will go on sale in a few months.

The basis for the minivan is the proprietary TNGA platform. The length of the car reaches 5175 mm, width — 1995 mm, height — 1785 mm.

Distance between wheel axles equals 3060 mm. The novelty is offered with a choice of wheels with a diameter of 18 and 20 inches.

Japanese model is equipped by default with a hybrid, basis of which is 192-horsepower «atmospheric» engine with 2.5-liter capacity.

Total efficiency of such unit equals 249 hp. The hybrid is combined only with a variator.

Toyota engineers have redesigned almost everything while preparing new Granvia.

The body of Japanese minivan differs stretched, partly sports shape.

In front, there is a branded grille of large size and with a fine mesh.

It is complemented by side air intakes, which emphasize the overall sporty style. At the front and rear, large LED-based optics are installed.

Granvia’s interior is made in a minimalist style. Control of almost all functions was moved to a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, under which the narrow block of the climate system stretches.

A full list of equipment, available in new Granvia, has not been revealed yet.

But it is known that the minivan is equipped with 360-degree cameras, projection screen, rain sensor, electric luggage compartment and branded last-generation security system. Prices for the Japanese model are also not announced.

Toyota Granvia is based on the current version of Toyota Sienna sold in the North American market.

The production of the model in China will be conducted jointly with the company GAC.

As mentioned above, the first images of the model have already appeared in the network, so there is an idea of its appearance.

In general, the presence of branded solutions is traced here, which is especially noticeable when looking at the front of the car.

In the center of the bumper is the logo of the brand, and the headlights are connected with each other by a decorative inset.

By the way, the optics is quite interesting, which gives the appearance a bit of aggression.

The central air intake is characterized by large size, and the side air intakes are hidden in special niches.
