Manhart has completed development of its tuning package for the 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The front-wheel-drive hot hatchback features a visually redesigned interior and exterior, new wheels and increased power.
The German tuning company Manhart has become widely known for its striking projects based on high-performance cars from various world brands.
This time the specialists of the studio have finalized the «charged» Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The project turned out to be incredibly effective. The tuners took the 2021 VW Golf GTI as a basis and painted its body in glossy black, which was complemented by red accents.
The «hot» hatchback was equipped with an enlarged diffuser with four fins, a new exhaust system and larger brake discs.
Atelier Manhart has completed work on a tuning package for the Volkswagen Golf 8 GTI.
The workshop proposes to install a new rear diffuser with four vertical fins, as well as a set of 19-inch alloy wheels on the front-wheel-drive hot hatch.
The latter have a multi-spoke design and are shod with 225/35 tires.
Also, the company’s specialists are ready to modify the interior of the five-door, and in a very unexpected way: the tuners will place many miniature LED-elements on the ceiling, thereby creating the effect of the night sky (as on the Rolls-Royce models).
In terms of performance, a proprietary MHtronik module is available for the VW Golf 8 GTI, the installation of which increases the output of the 2.0-liter TSI turbo four to 290 hp. (+ 45) and 425 Nm (+ 55).
How such a boost will affect the dynamics of the car, the company does not specify.
Recall that the stock model accelerates to a hundred places in just over 6.0 seconds, developing at 250 km / h (electronically limited).
Additionally, German tuners are ready to lower the five-door clearance by 40 mm by installing H&R springs.
Plus, in the atelier, you can order the revision of the exhaust and brake systems of the car. The cost of such a tuning kit is not advertised.
