The «medium» Business version boasts light and rain sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels (17-inch — on cars with two-liter engines), a rear-view camera, climate control, leather interior, a multimedia system with an 8.0-inch display and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay interfaces, navigation, fog lights, and electric front seats.

Overview (exterior and interior)

Only true fans of the model will be able to recognize the updated Volkswagen Passat 2021 model year from the pre-reform car from the outside, since there are few changes, and those that exist are insignificant.

The car received a slightly larger grille with modified horizontal strips, as well as a different front bumper with a wide central air intake and triangular foglights.

The shape of the narrow headlights has been slightly tweaked, while IQ.Light matrix headlights are available for a surcharge, each with 32 individually controllable LEDs.

The four-door retained a strict silhouette with impressive doorways and swollen wheel arches, while a slightly different bumper appeared on its stern.

The Germans did not touch the taillights, but a neat inscription with the model name appeared on the trunk lid under the brand emblem.

In the interior of the new Volkswagen Passat 2020-2021 model, there are noticeably more changes. First of all, the restyled sedan received a new 11.7-inch digital tidy (although the default is analog).

Note that the pre-reform car has a 12.3 ″ screen, but the Germans point out that the new display provides a clearer and brighter picture, while the instrument display design can be changed from the buttons on the steering wheel.

During the update, the car lost the analog clock located in the center of the front panel. Instead of them, a plug with the inscription «Passat» now flaunts.

But now the four-door has received a MIB3 multimedia system with a built-in SIM card.

It supports voice control and has the ability to play online audio and video clips. Depending on the configuration, the multimedia screen can be 6.5, 8.0 or 9.2 inches.

The latter is designed for three people, however, despite the good seat geometry and a large amount of free space in the legs, the passenger in the middle is unlikely to be comfortable because of the high central tunnel.

The ergonomics of the car was at a high level even before the restyling, and during the update the Germans tried to improve it only pointwise (for example, the car received wireless charging for a smartphone).

Noise isolation is made at a very decent level, and at high speeds only the rustle of tires makes itself felt, while aerodynamic noise and engine hum are not so clearly audible.
