Volkswagen Tayron 2022 in R-Line version has been «spotted» for the first time on the road tests: the crosscut is already shown on the photo.

On the Chinese market there are some models that are not sold in other countries. Volkswagen Tayron is one of them.

A few days ago, photographers were able to get some images of the crossover during road tests.

As it became known, the photo shows the Volkswagen Tayron 2022 in the R-Line version.

It is noteworthy that the car is only partially camouflaged, so we should expect upgrades in these very areas.

In the published images we can see that the protective film is present in the area of the front and rear bumpers, as well as at the bottom of the doors.

There is a masking near the exterior mirror, where the nameplate is likely to be located.

As for the design changes, you can already see the different optics and the radiator grille.

However, the manufacturer does not plan to abandon the corporate style.

In the lower part the air intakes have a similar design to the grille. Overall, the car looks sporty and dynamic.

In profile, the crossover will retain the same shape and design of handles on the doors.

True, some adjustments may be made in the lower part. Perhaps there will be a decorative insert, which will emphasize the sporty character of the model.

The rear bumper, as well as the front one, is well camouflaged.

Nevertheless, you can see the shape of the lights, but the filling remains unknown. in the lower part you can see the two spigots of the exhaust system.

The interior of the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line has not yet been revealed, but it is assumed that there will be some changes in terms of finishes and equipment.

Technical characteristics of the crossover, most likely, will remain the same.

Let’s remind that now the car is available with a turbocharged engine of 2.0 liters, which returns no more than 220 horsepower (350 N*m).

The engine is combined with a seven-speed automatic transmission of «wet» type with two clutches.
