A brand new cross-car ZIS-3 2022-2023 has been shown in the Network: it could cost less than 1 million rubles.

On the very last day of February of this year in the Network there was information that the car brand ZIS, which was popular in the Soviet Union, might return to the car market.

These rumors did not appear by accident. The fact is that global automakers are now practicing the return to the market of once popular models in a modern appearance and with more technological solutions.

In this regard, independent designer car portal «» earlier announced a series of renderings of how the first modern crossover of this brand may look, and today were published full-fledged photos of it.

It is claimed that if this parket really goes into production, it will become a more profitable competitor to the Hyundai Creta crossover and similar models.

The fact is that the cost of the new crossover ZIS-3 2022-2023 may be less than one million rubles.

There are several reasons for this. First of all, it is a consequence of really very compact dimensions of the Parkett, which will probably not exceed 4-4.5 meters in length, which will save on the production of the car.

In addition, for the actual production of such a crossover can only take the French company Renault, which has previously been associated with the once forgotten Soviet models and which, in addition, has a fairly strong influence on the domestic automotive market.

In this way, Renault can develop a really worthwhile model that will be one step below its own Kapture and will not create internal competition.

It is assumed that the new ZIS-3 2022-2023 crossover will get not only a fairly high ground clearance, not quite typical of urban models, but also economical, low-volume engines.

One of the most likely power units for the parkettes can become a 0.9-liter motor, which produces 93 hp and which Renault installs in some of its budget cars.

At the same time, the engine range can also include a 1.0-liter turbocharged and 1.6-liter atmospheric engine, which produces 100 and 115 hp, respectively.


The new ZIS-3 2022-2023 crossover is built in a form factor typical of many members of its class.

In particular, the car is distinguished by a square outline of the body: only the wheel fenders and hood slightly protrudes on the details of the body. Such a shape is largely due to design necessity.

Thanks to an almost flat roof and steep stern, the designer managed to increase the volume of interior space, while maintaining compact dimensions of the vehicle.

This design decision looks unexpected. Many modern crossovers are equipped with a radiator grille in the form of a polygon or hourglass.

The headlamp of ZIS-3 2022-2023 crossover looks like it was borrowed from the latest Renault models.
