Alfa Romeo Giulia 2025.

Alfa Romeo is developing the Giulia of the next generation.

It is expected that the presentation of the new Italian brand will take place at the end of 2024, and the model will reach dealers in 2025.

The Alfa Romeo brand belongs to auto giant Stellantis, which was formed by merger of FCA and PSA at the beginning of 2021.

The Italian brand has set a task before it to increase sales and profitability in the next few years.

Note that so far the results of the brand on the European market leave much to be desired: Alfa has been in «minus» since 2018.

At the end of pre-crisis 2019, the indicator collapsed by more than 53%, during the «covid» 2020 it fell by another 34.3%, and last year it continued to fall: for 2021, customers bought 25,964 units, which is 27.3% less.

At the beginning of the current month it became known that Alfa Romeo is preparing Giulia of the new generation.

According to the head of the company Jean-Philippe Imparato, the car will get only all-electric propulsion system.

Technical details are not available yet; it is not excluded that the next Giulia will get «stuffing» from partially declassified «relative» Maserati Grecale Folgore.

The «electric crossover» will have a 400-volt architecture, a 105 kW*h battery and a maximum torque of 800 Nm.

Alfa Romeo launched the Giulia four-door and the Stelvio crossover based on it in 2016.

At the end of 2019, the brand presented their updated versions: the appearance of models, as well as the engine range remained the same, the creators have made adjustments only in the interior of cars.

Note that the sales of the sedan in Europe are gradually decreasing every year.

Thus, at the end of 2021, customers bought only 6,297 cars, which is 15.3% less than the year before.

For comparison, in 2017, the model sold out in this market with a circulation of 24,679 units.

The next generation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, which is now in development, is intended to increase sales of the model.

There is no official information about how this electric car will look yet, so artists have the opportunity to fantasize about the exterior of the «second» Giulia.

The designer of the Spanish edition offers his own version of the exterior of the future novelty.

Judging by the rendering, Alfa Romeo Giulia can refuse the body of the «four-door».

Presented on the image the car looks more like a «lifted» liftback.

Design of its front end, probably, will borrow a lot from the Tonale crossover presented in early February.

It is assumed that the headlights with semicircles of the running lights will be made a little thinner, the plug in the form of a branded grille will remain almost the same, and a pair of air intakes integrated into the lower part of the front bumper will have a narrower shape.

On the rendering we can see that there is unpainted plastic bodykit along the perimeter, in addition, the future Alfa Romeo Giulia may have a black roof with rails.

Also at the picture you can notice that closer to the rear there is a «shark fin» antenna. The profile is adorned by wheel rims of recognizable brand design.

According to preliminary data, the driving range of the future electric car will be about 700 km.

Power «stuffing», probably, will be in the range from 170 to 245 hp, a drive — rear or full.

It is expected that the presentation of Alfa Romeo Giulia next generation will be held at the end of 2024, and to dealers model will get in 2025.

Let’s take a closer look at what the Italian company wants to do.

The saloon of the car will undergo big changes. It will combine sportiness and luxury.

That is the concept conceived by the company Alfa Romeo. Inside the Giulia there will be comfort, convenience and the highest technology in terms of equipment.

There will be noticeable features of a crossover, but the model will not be. It will be more like a new Ferrari Purosangue

There will be used design elements which we have already seen in Tonale, but it will be more sporty and its size will be reduced.

At the same time, branded details, such as the characteristic shape of the rear window, will be strongly visible.

The car will be created on the STLA Premium platform. It will also become the basis for a large number of electric models in the future.

The battery will have a capacity of about 94 kWh and provide a range of up to 700 km.

There will also be models with one or two electric motors, which means that we will be able to see a four-wheel drive version.

Power output will range from 170 to 245 horsepower, but these are just intermediate figures.
