The Germans introduced the updated Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid: now even more powerful.

In the spring of the twenty-third, the Germans updated the Porsche Cayenne, but the upgraded top version of the crossover was not shown then — it was added to the range just now.

At the same time, the flagship modification was also slightly renamed: from now on it is referred to as the «Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid», while before restyling it was called the «Caeynne Turbo S E-Hybrid».

During the restyling, the appearance of the car was slightly revised, but it still retained its key features. We are talking about enlarged air intakes in the front bumper and dual «blades» DRL.

The updated top version of the crossover is available in both standard and coupe body styles. If you choose the sloping roof version, you can also order the GT Package.

The latter includes an exhaust system with two pipes in the center of the bumper, additional aerodynamic components, a carbon fiber roof, and 22-inch wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes.

This package also includes a number of components from the non-hybrid Cayenne Turbo GT, namely a suspension retuned to a sporty mood with a 10 mm lower ground clearance and modified front wheel alignment (camber is declared at -0.58 degrees).

The updated Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid 2024 has become somewhat more powerful, although the hybrid installation itself has not changed much.

The crossover is still driven by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, but its output has been increased to 599 hp. (+49).

A new electric motor for 176 forces (+ 40) was built into the eight-speed automatic.

As a result, the unit now produces 739 hp at its peak. (950 Nm), while the performance of the pre-reform top version is somewhat more modest — 680 “mares” and 900 Nm of torque.

The Germans also increased the capacity of the traction battery — up to 25.9 kWh (+ 11.8).

This had a positive effect on the range — in the electric preset, the car can now drive 70-73 km (it was 40-43).

At the same time, the installation of another battery led to an increase in the weight of the crossover — its mass exceeded 2.5 tons. Despite this, acceleration from standstill to hundreds was reduced to 3.7 seconds (-0.1). Maximum speed — the same 295 km / h.

Well, specifically, the coupe version of the model with the aforementioned GT Package is even faster. From 0-100 km/h, it accelerates in 3.6 seconds, and its speed limit is already 305 km/h.

In the base, the updated top version has an air suspension with two-chamber struts, as well as an electronically controlled PTV Plus rear differential.

For a surcharge, you can order PDCC active anti-roll bars and a fully controlled chassis.

Orders for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid have already started. In Germany, for a “regular” crossover they ask from 176,000 euros (18.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and for a coupe-like one — from €180,000 (18.6 million rubles).

Well, a car with a set of GT Package will cost at least €208,500 (21.5 million rubles).

By the way, you can buy it only in countries where, due to environmental requirements, the non-hybrid Cayenne Turbo GT is not sold. Among them, almost all of Europe, as well as Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan.
