Jaguar I-Pace 2023: electric crossover. Electric car Jaguar I-Pace held the first restyling.

Over the five years of production, the Jaguar I-Pace electric SUV has been repeatedly subjected to minor modifications and improvements, but it was the first time it had been traditionally restyled.

Jaguar has carried out a planned update of the I-Pace electric crossover for the 2023 model year.

The car has changed externally and acquired several additional options.

In particular, the 2023 Jaguar I-Pace can now be bought in the new 400 Sport modification, which has become a top-end for it.

However, it turned out to be quite easy. And the most important sign of the updated cars is a smooth plug in place of the imitation of the radiator grille.

There are other visible changes as well. For example, the bumper stripes, door trims and rear diffuser are now body-coloured (previously black).

This body kit is called R-Dynamic, and it is included in the basic equipment. Other decor is black by default, and silver for an extra charge.

Options include 22-inch wheels with carbon-fiber inserts, and two shades of gray with a satin sheen have been added to the body color palette.

The interior is unchanged. But the Pivi Pro media system has an expanded set of functions that can be controlled remotely from a smartphone.

For example, pre-cooling of the passenger compartment can be programmed.

The base version of the EV320 with reduced electric motor power, which appeared in the summer of 2020, disappeared from the range in less than a year.

So now the Jaguar I-Pace, as at the start of sales, is offered in a single version of the EV400.

Two electric motors still produce 400 hp. and 696 Nm, acceleration time to «hundreds» — 4.8 s.

As before, the British model is equipped with two electric motors (mounted front and rear), which together produce up to 395 hp. and 696 N * m of torque.

This combination provides acceleration to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds.

Included with the crossover is a battery with a capacity of 90 kWh, thanks to which the car can travel up to 792 kilometers.

It takes about 8.5 hours to fully charge the battery from a household outlet.

The traction battery with a capacity of 90 kWh is also the same, with the current firmware version, the passport range reaches 470 km according to the WLTP cycle.

Updated Jaguar I-Pace is already available for order. For example, in the UK, prices start at 70,000 pounds, and in Germany, where there are no simple configurations, from 92,000 euros.

Prices for the electric crossover in the UK will start at £69,995.

The crossover received a smoother false radiator grille and front air intakes, which were painted gray. The rest of the changes are subtle.

The I-Pace comes standard with the same 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, the crossover comes with a climate control monitor and a digital instrument panel.

Base variants of the UK model come with 22-inch diamond-cut wheels with carbon fiber bets.

The top modification 400 Sport provides for adaptive suspension and front seats with heating and cooling, which can be configured in 14 ways.

For this version, they asked for 10 thousand pounds more.
