Premium British brand Aston Martin has unveiled an exclusive version of the V12 Speedster supercar from the special limited edition DBR1.

The manufacturer plans to release only 88 copies of the novelty, combining innovative technologies and experience in motorsport.

The Aston Martin DBR1 is probably familiar to everyone who is fond of motorsport, because this car has repeatedly participated in races and showed amazing results on the German test track Nürburgring.

Therefore, it is not surprising that it was he who was «revived» in a more modern version, creating an exclusive modification, with a mass of solutions reminiscent of a racing car of the DBR1 series.

Unveiled to the public, the Aston Martin V12 Speedster supercar boasts a signature body color reminiscent of the very first car ever built by a British brand.

The novelty has received an original grille made of anodized aluminum, black 21-inch wheels made of alloy materials.

For the interior of the exclusive modification of the V12 Speedster, natural leather and textiles were used, and decorative elements made of carbon fiber and brushed aluminum are also present in the interior.

Under the hood, the supercar is equipped with the same V12 engine, but, of course, upgraded. The power unit with a working volume of 5.2 liters generates 700 «horses», is paired with an eight-speed ZF gearbox and a rear-wheel drive system.

The sprint time to the first «hundred» is 3.4 seconds, the maximum speed is 318 km / h. You can pre-order an exclusive car right now, and the delivery of the first copies is scheduled to begin in the second half of this year.

Aston Martin has begun accepting orders for a special version of the V12 Speedster collector’s speedster called the DBR1, dedicated to the sports car of the same name from the late 1950s.

Such a speedster received a body shade and livery, like the classic DBR1; exclusive interior trim and an even more limited edition than the «regular» V12 Speedster.

From the original DBR1, the speedster borrowed the Aston Martin Racing Green body color, white circles on the doors and bonnet, a silver grille and open cab trim in two types of genuine leather, as well as textiles, carbon fiber and aluminum.

Other features of the special version include black 21-inch wheels with diamond-cut spokes and unique helmets for the driver and passenger, painted in body color.

The British brand calls the DBR1 sports car the most successful racing car in its history. After debuting in 1956, he won a number of notable victories, including the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans.

And the DBR1 won the 1000-kilometer race at the Nurburgring three times in a row — from 1957 to 1959.

A total of five copies of the DBR1 were produced.
The V12 Speedster, devoid of windshield and roof, was introduced just over a year ago.

Barketta was equipped with a 5.2-liter V12, developing 700 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque and working in tandem with the eight-band automatic ZF. The model reaches the first «hundred» in 3.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 300 kilometers per hour.

A total of 88 copies of the V12 Speedster will be produced. How many of them will be on the special version of DBR1 has not yet been reported.

In total, the British plan to build 88 copies of the Aston Martin V12 Speedster DBR1, but there is no information on the cost of the modification yet.
