For its 110th anniversary, Aston Martin has prepared a small-scale Valor supercar, which is primarily addressed to old-school enthusiasts.
In terms of exterior design, the British two-door has a lot of retro solutions from the classic Aston Martin V8 Vantage coupe (1977-1989).
In particular, it has a similar grille and the same design of the headlights, plus the shape of the hood and trunk is “peeped”.
Because of this, the novelty turned out to be outwardly in many ways similar to the unique Aston Martin Victor, which was built in 2020 on the special order of one of the clients.
True, if the latter was based on the One 77 small-scale coupe, then the developers took the V12 Vantage as the basis for the new Aston Martin Valor — from it the car received the chassis, body frame and the engine itself.
At the same time, the company emphasizes that almost all Aston Martin Valur body panels were made from scratch, with extensive use of carbon fiber.
All the optics of the model are LED, and unusual rollers with a diameter of 21″ flaunt on the wheels.
The interior of the car is almost the same as on the donor V12 Vantage. At the same time, he relies on a single dashboard display — without a separate “well” in the center.
Plus, the ventilation deflectors have been changed here, as well as the carbon decor has been revised.
At the same time, the architecture of the front panel is standard here. Customers can choose from several types of finishing materials — the seats can be upholstered in leather, Alcantara or traditional English tweed.
It is reported that the power structure of the 2023 Aston Martin Valor has been further strengthened (there was a brace between the rear suspension struts).
As for technology, the car is powered by a 5.2-liter V12 with two turbines and without any electrical attachments.
If on the source code this motor produces 700 hp, then on Valur its return was brought up to 715 forces. At the same time, the torque has not changed — the previous 753 Nm.
In conjunction with the engine, a non-alternative six-speed mechanics works, although the donor V12 Vantage is equipped with a ZF automatic. Also available rear-wheel drive with a classic self-block. There are several driver presets (Sport, Sport + and Track).
The small-scale two-door is based on adaptive shock absorbers and carbon-ceramic brakes, which have six-piston calipers in front and four-piston calipers in the rear.
The British will release Aston Martin Valor in a limited number of 110 pieces.
The cost per car varies widely, from £1.0m to £1.5m (depending on the personalization level chosen).
The cars will be shipped to the first customers at the end of the twenty-third, while the entire circulation was sold out in just two weeks.
