Based on the official image, the Fengyun A8 is the Arrizo 8 hybrid unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year.
Both cars have the same front end shape with a large grille. The models differ only in the design of the inside of the grille and the logo.
Positioned as a compact sedan, the Fengyun A8 has dimensions (length, width, height): 4780/1843/1469 mm with a wheelbase of 2790 mm, which is exactly the same as the Arrizo 8.
The engine produces 156 hp and the electric motor produces 150 kW. Acceleration to 100 km/h occurs in 7.6 seconds.
The official electric range of the car is 107 km, and the total range is 1,400 km. Fuel consumption is 4.2 liters per 100 km, and the maximum speed is 185 km/h.
As for the interior, the Fengyun A8 and Arrizo 8 are identical. The cabin features a dual 12.3-inch screen consisting of an instrument panel and a central control screen, as well as a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.
On the center console there is a “crystal” driving mode switch and a wireless charging pad. The car’s equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, ventilation and heated seats.
The car is expected to go on sale at the end of this year, and its price will be about 130,000–160,000 yuan (1.6 million — 2 million rubles).
