The Italian brand has unveiled its new racing track toy — this is the name of the new model from Maserati — MCXtrema Track Toy.

A total of 62 cars will be produced, and none of them will be legal for use on ordinary roads.

Based on the great MC20, the MCXtrema boasts much more angular styling, an aggressive aerodynamic package and 730 horsepower from its Nettuno twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine.
Debuting at The Quail, the racing Maserati will be produced in a limited edition of 62 and will not be street legal as a racing «toy».
But for private owners and collectors, the MCXtrema will be a worthy continuation of the mid-2000s MC12 Corsa.
The exact date of the presentation of the new Maserati MCXtrema supercar has been officially announced.
The 2024 Maserati MCXtrema supercar will debut on August 18. The manufacturer has registered the MCXtrema name for a new sports car.
This is reported by CarBuzz, citing data from the Italian database of patents and trademarks. Previously, the extreme supercar was known as Project24.
It is not known for certain what type of car will be presented under the mentioned name, but journalists are more inclined to believe that it will be a road sports car.
Although there is a possibility that we are talking about a racing car that is not intended for public roads.
As a power plant for the machine, a “six” from the Nettuno line can be selected.
It has a return of 621 hp, but for a supercar, engine power can be increased to 730 “horses” thanks to new turbochargers.
There is also a version that the registered name may be intended for the electric version of another model — the MC20. In this case, the car will have at its disposal a 1000-horsepower engine.
