Chrysler Airflow Concept 2022.

The Americans showed electric Chrysler Airflow Concept at CES 2022.

Chrysler has brought conceptual crossover Airflow to the CES 2022 exhibition, which is a kind of forerunner of electric future of the American brand.

Chrysler Airflow Concept exterior design almost completely repeats prototype, showed by Concern Stellantis in the summer of the twenty-first.

Parkette has aerodynamic silhouette with a sloping roof and muscular arches, which have 22-inch wheels.

Directly «face» of the model draws attention with a narrow grille and the same LED-lights.

The front bumper has a very simple design with miniature side sections, which are located front fog lights.

In turn, the stern of the car is notable for a large spoiler on the roof, heavily sloped rear window and a large diffuser.

The car’s LED lights are visually combined into a single strip, with the «Airflow» inscription glowing between the main units.

The interior of the Chrysler Airflow concept is four-seat and quite spacious. Since we are talking about an electric car, there is no central tunnel in the car, and the floor is absolutely flat.

Additional «airiness» of the interior is given by a large panoramic roof. There are three displays on the front panel, and two more screens are located behind the front seats.

Each of them can be personalized. Plus, passengers can use the built-in cameras and arrange a video conference with each other.

The entertainment complex has extensive online capabilities with a navigation system, voice assistant, etc.

There is the possibility of updating «over the air», so that in the future its functionality can be further expanded.

Other interior features include advanced ambient lighting and trim made of recycled materials (for example, the seats here are covered with soft eco-leather).

It is reported that the Chrysler Airflow is built on the concern’s new Stellantis platform, created specifically for electric cars.

The crossover is powered by two 204-horsepower electric motors (one on each axle).

Information about traction battery capacity is not available yet, although the approximate range is known — 563 — 644 km.

Another feature of the concept is a system STLA AutoDrive. In fact, this is an autopilot of the third level of autonomy which can be updated «through the air».

Chrysler plans to release its first electric car by 2025, with the twenty-eighth of the brand’s entire lineup consisting exclusively of battery-powered vehicles.

Most likely, the shown prototype will become a pioneer, and it will have to compete with cars like BMW iX, Cadillac Lyriq, Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y on the market.
