Fisker Ronin: 1,000-horsepower electric convertible in development for 38.0 million rubles.

Fisker has shared details on the in-development Rōnin electric convertible. It turned out that the manufacturer plans to bet on exclusivity.

The model will be released in a limited edition (only 999 pieces) and will be very expensive — as much as 385,000 US dollars will be requested for it (37.9 million rubles at the current exchange rate).

It is curious that in the photo the four-door convertible has only two door handles. This is due to the fact that the front flaps are equipped with an electric drive and open automatically, and sideways and upwards.

Only the rear doors will have to be manually opened. All gates can be opened from a smartphone. Plus, it will be possible to control a convertible top made of carbon fiber from a mobile phone.

It is known that the 23-inch wheels of the car are made of composite. In general, a lot of lightweight components are involved in the design of the machine. Plus, a number of parts are made from recycled materials.

The convertible has a futuristic five-seat interior, the key features of which are the tidy built into the steering wheel and a large 17.1-inch display in the center. It also has a spacious trunk.

There are few details about the Fisker Rōnin technique yet. It is assumed that the electric car will receive a three-engine power plant, the total output of which will be about 1,000 hp.

This will allow the battery-powered convertible to compete with high-performance fuel supercars on equal terms: from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) it will allegedly be able to «shoot» in about 2.0 seconds, and its speed limit is stated at 275 km/h.

Fisker notes that the development of the «opener» focuses on the pleasure of self-driving. However, it will still receive some autonomous technologies.

And Ronin should become one of the most long-range electric cars on the market.

The Americans report that its power reserve will be 965 km. The model will be released only in the second half of the twenty-fifth.
