Jaguar has released the latest versions of its high-performance models with an internal combustion engine. The new F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75 are presented.
British car company Jaguar intends to refuse production of sports cars with traditional internal combustion engines from the next year.
However, this year the brand is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the F-Type sports models and to celebrate the event the company has released special versions of F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75.
Both received a redesigned interior and exterior, as well as a little extra power.
Let’s start with the exterior design. Each car comes equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black.
In addition, the Jaguars come standard with LED headlights.
It is also worth mentioning the exclusive body color «Giola Green», available only for the anniversary versions and badges on the front fenders, indicating the special version of the car.
Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, Windsor leather seats, and more stainless steel trim on the dashboard and above the multimedia display.
It is also worth mentioning that the saloons of both models get the «Black Pack» as standard.
Now, as for the power. The Jaguar F-Type 75 can be equipped with one of two turbocharged engines. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit generates 296 hp, while the more powerful 5.0-liter V8 is tuned for 444 hp.
The Type R 75 is offered exclusively with the 5.0-liter V8, but its output has been increased to 567 hp and 700 N*m of torque.
It is reported that acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and top speed is 299 km/h.
It is important to note that the manufacturer has worked on the chassis of both versions.
In particular, the rear suspension was cast from a light alloy under high pressure, which combined with large hub bearings provides the sharpest handling at high speeds.
For now, the cars are available exclusively in the UK, with prices starting at £78,330.
