Toyota has started sales of its debut bZ4X electric cross-country: equipment and prices of the novelty.

Today, October 10, Toyota bZ4X 2023 crossover has been officially launched on the Chinese market.

Recall that this model is the first all-electric Japanese brand.

The manufacturer has released a total of five versions of the crossover at a price of 199,800 to 287,800 yuan, which at the current exchange rate is equivalent to 1.71 — 2.47 million rubles.

The new car is built on the Toyota e-TNGA architecture. Buyers are offered both front- and all-wheel drive modifications of the parket, and its maximum range according to the CLTC cycle is 615 km.

Externally the new bZ4X looks modern and even science fiction.

In front of the car you can see the grille of closed type, pointed headlights, consisting of several lenses, and LED daytime running lights, which are connected with a chrome strip.

The side wheel arches are painted black. Fast and slow charging ports are placed on the left and right front fenders.

At the stern, the manufacturer has installed through-type lights with boomerang-shaped edges.

Also here you can see a small spoiler in the style of «duck tail». The length of the Japanese novelty is 4690 mm, width — 1860 mm, and height — 1650 mm. Wheelbase reached 2850 mm.

Customer can choose from six single-color body paint options, as well as five two-color.

The interior of the car is made in multilayer style. The touchscreen multimedia display has received large enough dimensions and is «suspended» in the central console.

Under it there are touch buttons and a number of physical keys to control the air conditioner.

In addition, the parket received a virtual dashboard and a three-spoke multilink steering wheel.

The Japanese model is equipped with a digital car ecosystem «smart cabin», which supports voice recognition and OTA software updates.

The owner of the car will be able to remotely lock and unlock it, lock and start the engine.

The cross is also equipped with a smart parking assistant with multiple scenarios and a memory function.

The manufacturer offers two power options, as well as front- and all-wheel drive.

The front-wheel drive version of the parkette is equipped with a 204-horsepower motor. Such model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,5 seconds.

In all-wheel drive modification the front and rear engines generate 109 hp each.

Acceleration to «hundred» in this case is 6.9 seconds. The car is also equipped with a triple lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50.3 or 66.7 kWh, depending on the configuration.

The parkett has a range of 400,500, 560 or 615 km.
