Jeep Renegade 2024.

The outgoing Jeep Renegade 2024 has been updated for Europe.

For the current model year, the old-world version has acquired a different dashboard and a new multimedia touchscreen.

The American Jeep brand belongs to the young auto giant Stellantis.

One of its models is the compact crossover Renegade, the production of which started in 2014.

This SUV underwent restyling at the beginning of 2022, but this did not save the model from the significant decline in sales in the North American market that has continued over the past few years.

According to the website Goodcarbadcar.net, over the past year the Jeep Renegade sold 26,012 copies in the United States, this result is 5.6% more modest than the 2022 figure.

It is also 75.6% less than the peak year of 2016, when Americans bought more than 106 thousand copies. As a result, they decided to remove the SUV from the brand’s home lineup.

The model is doing better in the old-world market, so the Jeep Renegade will stick around for now.

Moreover, the crossover, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary next month, has received a number of updates for the current model year.

The main changes affected the interior and focused on the front panel.

Thus, the 2024 Jeep Renegade received a new virtual instrument panel, hidden under the visor, its diagonal is 10.25 inches.

In addition, the crossover was equipped with a new larger touchscreen for the infotainment system, its diagonal is 10.1 inches (in the pre-reform version it was 7 or 8.4 inches, depending on the version).

As the company explained, the display area has increased by 40%. It is worth noting that visually the new elements look more modern than the rest of the outdated interior.

The SUV’s multimedia system was equipped with wireless connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa voice assistant, a new high-definition camera, and 4G connection.

The car also received a remote locking and unlocking function.

The refreshed Renegade also gets a new steering wheel and more USB ports for charging smartphones.

The Summit version is now available with new 18-inch alloy wheels.

The 2024 model year crossover is available in Europe in five trim levels. The Renegade is the base model, followed by the Altitude, Summit and Overland, and the top spot remains with the Trailhawk, which is best equipped for off-road use.

The refreshed European Jeep Renegade was left with the same, but modernized “filling”: we are talking about e-Hybrid hybrid installations (total output is 130 hp) and 4xe plug-in hybrid (total output is 240 hp).

The crossovers have had their engine and battery reconfigured, which, as the company explained, has reduced fuel consumption and reduced emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Prices for the refreshed crossover will be announced later. In one of the largest old-world markets, in Germany, the pre-reform version can now be bought for a minimum of 29,300 euros, while the purchase of a top-end version will cost at least 47,350 euros.
