Maserati Ghibli 334 Ultima 2024: the fastest sedan in the world with a top speed of 334 km/h.

Maserati has unveiled the limited-edition Levante V8 Ultima crossover and the Ghibli 334 Ultima sedan. They will be the last models of the Italian brand with the Ferrari V8 engine, which the company has been using for 11 years now.

Special versions have a unique exterior decor. Specifically, the crossover can be ordered in either Nero Assoluto black or Blu Royale blue.

But the four-wheeler attracts attention with a body color called “Scià di Persia”. On its front fenders, the number «334» flaunts, already made in the color «Rubino».

The interior has a combination of leather «Pale Terracotta» and black Alcantara.

Also available in carbon decor. This design is intended to resemble the interiors of classic Maserati models.

The power units of the machines are taken from the top versions of Trofeo. This means that they are equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 580 hp. and 730 Nm of torque.

At the same time, the Italians emphasize that the Ghibli 334 Ultima is supposedly the world’s fastest serial sedan.

The four-door can accelerate from zero to hundreds in 3.9 seconds (-0.4 compared to the «regular» Ghibli Trofeo).

The maximum speed is declared at the level of 334 km / h (+ 8), which is reflected in the name of the modification.

This is more than the Bentley Flying Spur Speed (333 km / h), which until recently was considered the fastest sedan in the world.

The Italians managed to achieve such indicators by optimizing aerodynamics and reducing the weight of the model.

Plus, the four-door received special tires with a new rubber compound.

The Maserati Levante V8 Ultima crossover and the Ghibli 334 Ultima sedan will be produced in an edition of 103 copies each. Again, this number was not chosen by chance.

The fact is that the number «103» is a reference to the AM103 project, within which the 5000 GT coupe was built, which became the first road model of the Italian brand with the mentioned V8.
