Opel presented the Grandland crossover with mild hybrid technology.

Opel has updated the offering of its popular compact crossover. In addition to the reduction in the number of versions, 48-volt light hybrid technology (MHEV) has been introduced unexpectedly.

18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, electrically adjustable folding and heated exterior mirrors, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, front center armrest, heated front seats, height-adjustable driver’s seat.

It is driven by a new 6-speed e-DCS6 automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive system.

Thanks to its lithium-ion battery, the Grandland lightweight hybrid can drive in 100% electric mode in very specific situations.

The crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 km/h. It claims an average fuel consumption of 6.2 liters per 100 km.
