Opel Grandland 2024.

Opel presented the Grandland crossover with mild hybrid technology.

Opel has updated the offering of its popular compact crossover. In addition to the reduction in the number of versions, 48-volt light hybrid technology (MHEV) has been introduced unexpectedly.

The German manufacturer has updated its crossover offer. He saw the light with very interesting motorization. Grandland introduces 48-volt mild hybrid technology.

This technology, developed by Stellantis, allows driving in all-electric mode in very specific situations.

The arrival on the scene of hybrid technology allows the new Opel Grandland 2024 to have ECO versions in its range. This will be an incentive to increase sales of this model.

Opel has reduced the Grandland’s range to a minimum. The offer now consists of one GS trim level.

Its standard equipment includes: multiple airbags (front, side and curtain)

18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, electrically adjustable folding and heated exterior mirrors, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, front center armrest, heated front seats, height-adjustable driver’s seat.

In the cabin, it is worth noting the presence of an infotainment system with a 10-inch touch screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, a multifunctional heated steering wheel, covered in artificial leather and adjustable in height and depth.

Driving assistants include: hill start assist, lane change warning, power windows, cruise control and speed limiter, and remote-controlled central locking.

Under the bonnet is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Electrified unit with 48-volt light hybrid technology, developing 136 hp. and maximum torque of 230 Nm.

It is driven by a new 6-speed e-DCS6 automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive system.

Thanks to its lithium-ion battery, the Grandland lightweight hybrid can drive in 100% electric mode in very specific situations.

The crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 km/h. It claims an average fuel consumption of 6.2 liters per 100 km.
