Automobili Pininfarina has prepared a limited edition special edition for its Battista electric hypercar called «Edizione Nino Farina».
It is dedicated to the very first Formula 1 champion, the Italian Giuseppe Farina, also known by the nickname «Nino».
By the way, he was the nephew of the founder of Pininfarina.
It is known that five such cars will be produced in total, and each of them is somehow dedicated to key events in the life and career of an eminent racer (for example, his first victory in F-1 at the 1950 British Grand Prix).
Outside, the special version attracts attention with the rich red color of the Rosso Nino body. The Italians chose this color in honor of the racing cars that Nino once drove.
The car shown in the photo also has a special livery: on the bottom of the body you can see stripes of white «Bianco Sestriere» and blue «Iconica Blu». And they are also on the cases of side mirrors.
The roof of the car is black, and the number «01» flaunts on its rear fenders.
The new version differs from the base model only in design: it is a red body color with white stripes, golden wheels, a two-tone interior trim, special decor and commemorative plates.
Its world premiere will take place as part of the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed from 13 to 16 July.
Design Battista Edizione Nino Farina, dedicated to the first Formula 1 champion, will be released in five exclusive copies with unique interior and exterior details in each of them.
All cars in the series will be dedicated to one of the five milestones in the incredible career of the legendary Italian racing driver Nino Farina, ensuring that every collector will become the owner of a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of Italian design.
Visually, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina features a unique bright red Rosso Nino exterior with contrasting inserts and new Glorioso Gold wheels.
The interior of the car also received an exclusive two-tone finish in beige leather and black Alcantara with exclusive “Nino Farina” lettering.
Each of the five copies of the hypercar will receive a unique aluminum plate on the door.
The power plant Battista Edizione Nino Farina develops an incredible 1900 hp. and allows you to accelerate to the first «hundred» in just 1.86 seconds.
The maximum speed that this electric hypercar is capable of reaching is 350 km / h, and the WLTP range is 476 km.
Earlier, the Battista electric hypercar from Automobili Pininfarina set several speed records. As Autonews of the Day reported at the time, it surpassed the results of Formula 1 racing cars.
