Volvo S60 Black Edition 2022.

The special Volvo S60 Black Edition 2022 for the U.S. market will be produced in only 450 units.

Volvo has prepared a new package for the S60 sedan called «Black Edition».

The latter adds a number of black components, due to which the four-door looks more formidable.

Volvo S60 Black Edition offered exclusively in two body shades: black «Onyx Black Metallic» and white «Crystal White Metallic».

The sedan also gets 19-inch gloss black wheels.

Plus, this special edition features black grille, nameplates and decorative elements.

At the stern, darkened exhaust system spigots draw attention. It is reported that this package is available for Volvo S60 2022 model year.

It can be ordered for S60 Momentum and R-Design soft-hybrid sedans and S60 Recharge plug-in hybrid.

The number of «black» version will be only 450 cars, all designed for the U.S. market.

Volvo’s factory in Ridgeville (South Carolina, USA) will produce special versions.

The first four-doors will appear in showrooms of local dealers in spring of the twenty-second at a price of $40,000 (3.4 million rubles at current exchange rate).

This version of the model is distinguished by a black body paint. This modification was demonstrated for the U.S. market, and therefore, most likely, it will be sold there.

Despite the fact that this is a «black» version of the model, it is also released with a white body.

However, there are parts that will be painted in a dark shade anyway.

We are talking about the grille, air intake cutouts, diffuser and discs. Separately we should mention the «deaf» tinting of this variation of the Swedish sedan.

In general, the design of the model in this variation looks much more «interesting» than the standard version.

The black grille harmonizes with the deep air intake cutouts.

Also quite unusual the car looks with the included T-shaped daytime running lights, integrated into the headlights.

The profile of this sedan version draws attention with custom rims, unpainted mid-pillars, and a dark-colored charging hatch on the inside.

At the stern, there are lights in the signature C-style, as well as a full-width bumper diffuser.

There is information that this variation of the model will be powered by a hybrid system on the basis of a two-liter power unit.

This unit is characterized by high power and consumes little fuel. Volvo S60 Black Edition will appear in dealerships in North America in spring this year.

It is not clear if this modification will go to other countries, but, most likely, there will not be this sedan in Russian showrooms. The fact is that Volvo cars are not in great demand in Russia.
