The new Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max business sedan has made its official debut.
Motorinvest, which is the official distributor of the Chinese brand Dongfeng, has introduced a new Aeolus Shine Max 2023 business sedan.
And, according to the press service of the domestic company, at the start of sales, the car will be available from dealers in the only maximum configuration.
Body length Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max is 4797 mm with a wheelbase of 2770 mm.
Such dimensions provide maximum space in the cabin, which is further emphasized by the soft eco-leather upholstery.
Before the driver’s eyes there will be a digital “tidy” with a 12.3-inch screen.
Also inside the sedan will be a 10.25-inch multimedia system, a stereo system with 9 speakers, several USB connectors, wireless charging of gadgets, a cooling glove box, a central armrest and electrically adjustable seats.
The Aeolus Shine Max engine line will consist of a single 1.5-liter turbocharged unit.
Its return will be 190 «horses» at 320 N * m of traction moment.
The transmission is also non-alternative — a 7-speed «robot» with a double «wet» clutch, which is combined with front axle drive.
Large four-door slightly tweaked appearance.
The sedan got a retouched radiator grille: rather massive chrome inserts were removed from its sides, instead of them — thinner shiny elements (they are scattered over the entire surface of the grille), which, in addition, are located on silvery “substrates”.
The headlights are now supported by silvery curved trims. As before, in the Celestial Empire, Aeolus Yixuan Max still has a “sporty” version (which is what is captured on company photos), its features are a slightly more aggressive body kit, red decor and brake calipers of the same color, black roof and wheels.
The dimensions have not changed. The length is 4797 mm (4845 mm with the sports package), the width is 1870 mm, the height is 1475 mm, the wheelbase is 2770 mm.
The interior is the same. There is no new equipment either, but at the same time, the all-round visibility system now appears in the second most senior configuration (previously it was only for expensive versions).
The base has a panoramic sunroof, a virtual tidy (7 inches), a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a keyless entry system and an engine start button, climate control, cruise control.
The arsenal of the top version includes a 12.3-inch instrument screen, an adaptive cruise, auto-braking and lane keeping systems.
The technique did not change. As in Russia, in China, the Aeolus Yixuan Max sedan is offered with a 1.5 petrol turbo four (190 hp) in combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches.
In the home market, the model still comes in the form of a hybrid (we don’t have such a version): the installation includes a 163-horsepower 1.5 turbo engine, an electric motor with a capacity of 177 hp. and an electromechanical variator. Drive in any case only front.
A purely gasoline updated Aeolus Yixuan Max in China costs 97,900 — 115,900 yuan, which is equivalent to about 1,283,000 — 1,519,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
The price of a hybrid is 119,900 yuan (about 1,572,000 rubles). In Russia, Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max is now presented in the only top-end configuration for 2,990,000 rubles.
