New Ford F-series Super Duty 2023: Specifications and price.

Dealers began taking orders for the new product today: the starting price of the American brand’s full-size pickup on the home market is $43,970. Live sales will begin next spring.

«Regular» Ford F-150 pickup changed generations back in 2020, and the new «heavy» variant — F-Series Super Duty — was introduced just recently, late last month.

Recall, this big pickup still has a frame chassis, as well as aluminum cab and cargo platform construction.

Fans of the truck can choose a modification with a single-row Regular Cab, «one-and-a-half» SuperCab or double-row Crew Cab.

The length of «heavy» pickups ranges from 5.9 to 6.8 meters (depending on the truck).

The starting version is equipped with a new 6.8-liter V8 gasoline engine. Now it became known that its output is 411 hp and maximum torque is 603 Nm.

It replaced the 390-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine (its torque was 582 Nm).

Also in the range remained the «senior» motor Godzilla V8 7.3-liter, appeared in 2019: its capacity in the new Ford F-series Super Duty is 436 hp (as in the predecessor), and the maximum torque — 657 Nm (14 Nm more).

In addition, there is a 6.7-liter V8 diesel engine in the range, its output is 482 hp and torque is 1422 Nm.

The top version has an updated engine up to 507 hp, and torque rose to 1625 Nm. All versions come with a ten-speed automatic transmission.

The company also declassified tonnage of the new Ford F-series Super Duty: F-450 version with Max Tow package and top-end diesel engine has the maximum payload of 18,144 kg.

We shall remind, during the change of generation the model has received changed, but recognizable appearance, new interior with virtual dashboard (diagonal — 12 inches), base eight-inch screen of infotainment system (in more expensive versions — 12 inches).
