Sales start date of the new Ford F-150 Raptor 2023 has been announced: the price for the pickup will be announced very soon.
Recently, automaker Ford officially announced that the new generation of the F-150 Raptor 2023 pickup will get its price in June.
Deliveries of the model to markets will begin in the third quarter of this year. Note that pickup trucks are very popular in America.
The Ford F-series was born in 1948. For the past 45 years, it has been one of the best-selling in the United States.
The new Ford F-150 Raptor is a third-generation model. It was officially introduced in February 2021.
There are several versions of the pickup, namely Deluxe Edition, King Ranch Edition, Platinum Edition and Raptor Edition. The Raptor Edition can be thought of as a high-performance, sporty version of the Ford F-150.
Although the styles of each version are different, the exterior retains a commanding character.
The square and huge front shape gives the car a very wild and tough look, and the addition of an active air intake grille effectively reduces fuel consumption.
The new shape of the LED group combines with the huge English FORD logo to further reflect the aura of the car.
The pickup measures 5910x2192x1992 mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 3708 mm.
It’s even larger than some full-size SUVs.
BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires are available in sizes 35 and 37 inches.
The interior retains the off-road design style. The Raptor features a 12-inch multimedia display and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel.
Local tweaks will likely be made to the central controls to improve the vehicle’s practicality.
As for off-road configuration, the Ford F-150 Raptor is equipped with TMS Terrain Management System, which has a choice of seven driving modes.
The rear suspension design has also been redesigned. It now features a five-lever system and next-generation FOX Live Valv dampers with 24-inch springs that deliver high-frequency road information, displaying it on the in-cab monitor.
The Ford F-150 Raptor is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5T EcoBoost V6 engine with 450 hp and a maximum torque of 691 N*m.
It is combined with a 10AT transmission. Compared to the old model, the unit has an increase of 69 «horses» and 19 N*m of torque.
