Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally 2024: Americans presented the first Mustang for gravel roads.
At the summer Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023, the Americans showed the conceptual Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally, and now this car has debuted in production form.
It differs from the regular model in a number of features.
In fact, this is the first Mustang for gravel roads, and it was created with an eye on rally cars.
The vehicle has a front towing eye and is equipped with electric motor protection.
Visually, the “rally” modification can be recognized by the presence of the original splitter and fog lights in the radiator grille plug.
It also has a black roof and a spoiler at the rear (like the Focus RS). The wheels are shod with Michelin CrossClimate2 tires.
The color palette of this car is represented by six shades. These include Star White, Shadow Black, Eruption Green, Grabber Blue, Grabber Yellow and Glacier Gray.
Each of these colorways also features racing stripes.
The modification’s interior received a number of white accents and sports seats. As for technology, the car has a twin-engine power plant, the units of which produce 487 hp at peak. (881 Nm). The traction battery here has a capacity of 91 kWh.
The crossover has a ground clearance raised by 20 mm, and its suspension design uses different MagneRide springs and shock absorbers with special settings.
At the front, the diameter of the brake discs was also increased (up to 385 mm), and the standard calipers were replaced with more efficient ones from Brembo. By the way, they are red here.
It should also be noted that the car has a special driving preset “RallySport”, which is precisely designed for operation on gravel roads, and is also designed to simplify driving on snow.
Activating it enables more aggressive damping settings.
Plus the electronics make responses more linear and allow for deep slides.
The Americans promise to open orders for the new Mustang Mach-E Rally at the beginning of the twenty-fourth.
It is expected that such a crossover can be purchased for $65,000 (6.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
For comparison, prices for a regular model start at $46,000 (4.5 million rubles).
