The Chinese company GAC plans to bring to market a new generation of the 2023 GS3 crossover in the Shadow Speed ​​version.

And recently it became known that the acceptance of pre-orders starts on February 20, but so far only in the Middle Kingdom.

As reported, the updated SUV will be built on the brand’s own platform called GPMA.

In addition, GAC has drastically redesigned the GS3 Shadow Speed’s exterior, making it more modern.

Note that, in comparison with the current version, the dimensions of the crossover have increased significantly.

So, now the length of the body is 4410 mm, width — 1850 mm, and height — 1600 mm.

The wheelbase has grown to 2650 mm (plus 90 mm compared to the current version), which will significantly increase the free space in the cabin

In addition to the exterior, the manufacturer has also revised the interior of the GS3 Shadow Speed, as well as the level of its equipment.

Now two huge displays will be located in front of the driver’s eyes at once.

One will serve as a dashboard, and the second, with which you can control the multimedia system, is located in the center of the console.

Additionally, the ADiGO active safety complex was installed on the SUV, which consists of an active braking assistant, an assistant when leaving a given lane, a traffic sign recognition system, etc.

Under the hood of GAC’s GS3 Shadow Speed, a modified power unit with a 1.5-liter turbine will be installed.

Its power has increased by 14 hp. and now is 177 «horses». The transmission is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Thanks to this combination, the new “Chinese” will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in just 7.5 seconds.
