Volkswagen Touareg Facelift 2024
Volkswagen has published the first photos of the upgraded 2024 Volkswagen Touareg crossover.
The German brand has unveiled a 2024 Volkswagen Touareg Facelift prototype covered in camouflage, which will be a great novelty by the manufacturer by next spring.
The eye-catching vinyl reveals interesting details that have been hidden until now.
The 2024 Volkswagen Touareg Facelift is ready for presentation. He was spotted a few weeks ago on the icy roads of northern Sweden.
Now the brand has unveiled a prototype wearing a special camouflage in the same parts, highlighted by colorful vinyl. Several official spy photos declassify the uncamouflaged interior.
The novelty will receive thinner HD matrix LED headlights as an option, improving the internal headlights.
There is a thin light bar that runs from below through the modified grille to the headlight at the far end.
The grille is narrower, but it’s also extended to the fenders, and the bumper has a large air intake that takes up the entire piece without interruption.
The Touareg Facelift has an improved rear end. While the crossover retains the light cluster design, the brand’s illuminated emblem suggests that the pilots will be connected by a light bar, a new element of this crossover.
The Touareg retains the digital instrument cluster and the large touchscreen of the 15-inch Innovision Cockpit infotainment system.
Improvements come with new materials and additional equipment, including a voice assistant, HD navigation maps, wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and USB-C ports with up to 45W fast charging.
Volkswagen has confirmed that the refreshed Touareg will feature active rear wheel steering with a new, more comfortable air suspension, active anti-roll bars with anti-roll bar function and a new roof-mounted sensor that measures extra weight.
The firm has also streamlined its engine lineup, offering more power in two of its five versions, all with 8automatic transmissions and 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
The two hybrid-powered versions of the Volkswagen Touareg Facelift retain the same mechanical layout with a 3.0-litre TSI V6 engine and electric motor. The novelty retains its lithium-ion battery with a usable capacity of 14.3 kWh.
The brand will introduce the updated Volkswagen Touareg next May, which will go on sale in the summer.
