GMC Acadia 2024.

The new GMC Acadia has been introduced: the third-generation SUV has become larger and smarter.

In mid-September twenty-third, the premiere of the new (third) generation of the GMC Acadia crossover took place. The model received a seriously modified exterior design.

On the outside, the key features of the all-terrain vehicle in the new body are a large rectangular radiator grille and compact headlights with pronounced DRL fangs.

The declassified model is still a three-row model. Depending on the configuration, the car can have seven or eight seats.

Equipment in the base includes an 11.0-inch virtual instrument panel and a 15.0-inch touchscreen multimedia system.

By the way, the latter’s screen can be customized “to suit you.” Plus, the entertainment complex has support for Google applications.

As before, several versions are available for the model, which have a number of fundamental differences.

Among them is the “off-road” version of the AT4 with a distinctive body kit and red towing eyes.

The flagship is traditionally the luxurious Denali modification.

It comes with 22-inch wheels, wood interior trim, a panoramic roof, advanced Bose music with 16 speakers and an active noise reduction system.

The 2024 GMC Acadia is built on the same platform as the Chevrolet Traverse. Compared to its predecessor, the crossover has become somewhat larger.

It is equipped with a non-alternative 2.5-liter turbo-four with a capacity of 333 hp. (442 Nm), working in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic. The base model has front-wheel drive.

All-wheel drive is offered as an option, with the aforementioned AT4 variant having Active Torque Control with individual clutches on the rear wheels as standard.

Other features of the “off-road” modification include an increased ground clearance of 25 mm, a retuned suspension with hydraulic bumpers and All Terrain tires.

This option is also equipped with a special driving preset (for driving on the ground).

The still fresh Acadia has several external cameras that provide nine viewing options at once.

The model also has a wide range of electronic assistants.

There are about two dozen of the latter in total. For example, there is automatic braking with the function of detecting pedestrians and cyclists, monitoring of “dead” spots, control of cross traffic with emergency braking at intersections.

The debut of the third generation GMC Acadia on the American market will take place at the beginning of the twenty-fourth. There is no information about the cost of the crossover yet.
